Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 5, 2026

Epione is designed to be a lightweight AI companion experience. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, what we do not collect, and how we handle information when you use Epione.

What We Do Not Save

Epione does not save your chat content or conversation transcripts as part of the product experience.

Prompts, replies, and back-and-forth conversation content are not stored by Epione for later viewing in the app.

What We May Collect

We may collect account information such as your email address, authentication details managed through our auth providers, basic session records, companion settings you create, feedback you submit, and simple wellbeing check-in scores entered before or after a session.

We may also collect limited technical information such as timestamps, browser-level request data, and service logs needed to operate, secure, and improve the product.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide the service, authenticate users, support creator tools, improve stability, review feedback, and measure high-level product outcomes such as before-and-after check-in changes.

Third-Party Services

Epione relies on third-party providers including Supabase for authentication and database services, and AI model providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or xAI depending on the companion configuration in use.

Your use of Epione may involve requests being processed by those providers. Their terms and privacy practices apply to the services they provide.

Children

Epione is intended only for adults age eighteen or older.
